Ricarda Roggan is one of the most important German photographers of her generation. The Leonhardi Museum in Dresden presented the artist’s first major solo exhibition in Dresden, offering an insight into key bodies of work from 2005 to 2022, such as ATTIKA, BAUMSTÜCKE and APOKRYPHEN. A catalogue was published to accompany the latter series, which was the focus of the exhibition. With the series REVISION and the films PROTOKOLL STADT N and STRUKTURUNTERSUCHUNG DER STADT N, we were also able to show three of the artist’s recently completed works for the first time.
Dr Agnes Matthias spoke at the opening on 8 April 2022.
